A 2-alarm fire was reported at an office building in Southwest Bakersfield.

The fire started around 12:15 a.m. at 3403 Stockdale Highway.

What caused the blaze is unknown and the building was empty during the fire.

The east and westbound lanes of Stockdale Highway are also closed down, according to BPD the lanes should open up within the next 30-60 minutes.
