The Bakersfield Symphony Orchestra has the Young People's Concert series, where elementary students, secondary students, and teachers from all across Kern County come together and enjoy performances. 

The concert is scheduled for today, Thursday November 2, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. The Bakersfield Symphony Orchestra will be performing two selections, Paddington Bear and Tubby the Tuba. 

The concert is hosted at Rabobank Theater. The Young People's Concert has been an ongoing event for the past 30 years. 

Every year the Bakersfield Symphony Orchestra performs three themed concerts for students during the year, which are designed to inspire the students to have a lifetime love for music.
