A new study shows that anxiety and depression are taking a greater toll on America's youth.
According to WedMD the number of kids and teens who've been hospitalized for attempted suicide or suicidal thoughts has doubled since 2008.
According to the study, author Dr. Gregory Plemmons said, "the findings are not surprising."
The author also said that colleges have reported an increase in anxiety and depression among students and counseling services are seeing more students.
