According to GasBuddy, the best day to buy gas in California is Monday. California travelers will see the highest gas prices on Sundays.

If you're looking to top off your tank, GasBuddy recommends going on a Wednesday or Thursday.

GasBuddy analyzed gas prices from January 1, 2019 through March 31, 2019 to determine the best and worst days at the pump.
