They're one of the most known bands with hits that have populated radio, T.V. and movies. 

And now Styx will be sailing away to Bakersfield.

On Monday, the Fox Theater announced that Styx will be performing in Bakersfield on Jan. 15. Tickets for the show will go on sale Friday. 

Since the 1970s Styx has released iconic hits such as "Lady," "Come Sail Away," and Mr. Roboto". 

Pre-sale tickets can be purchased through Ticketfly beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday.
