Sunday, September 11, 2016 marks the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
September 11 also marks the 10th anniversary of the "9/11 Support Our Troops and Never Forget" motorcycle ride.
The event will be at Bakersfield Harley-Davidson on September 11, 2016 at 10:00 a.m.
There will be veteran service agencies, support groups and food vendors at the event. At 1:30 p.m., the ride begins, and the first stop is Minter Field Air Museum. The suggested donation is $10 per bike.
All proceeds go to the Minter Field Air Museum and The Armed Forces Support Foundation, which helps local veterans in their time of need.
