Super Bowl Sunday calls for big parties. Firehouse Restaurant and Bar in Bakersfield was host to one of the biggest parties in town, with 200-250 people gathered to cheer on the Broncos and Panthers.

After the game finished, Broncos fans ran towards the streets and cheered for their team as passing cars honked and sped by.

The speeding cars is part of the reason why Super Bowl Sunday is one of the deadliest days in terms of fatal car accidents.

Drinking and driving is a prominent problem after the game. Officials and Uber both said that if someone is going to drink, it is important to keep the keys at home and have a designated driver, taxi or Uber take you to your destination.

Several Super Bowl ads also addressed the issue of drinking and driving, with companies like Budweiser going as far as calling driving drunk a despicable act.

According to the DMV handbook, a first time DUI can result in fines between $390-1,000 as well as up to six months in prison.
