College seniors about to graduate will have something more to celebrate as the nation now has more job openings and higher demands for college graduates than in past years.
Seventy-five percent of employers say they plan to hire graduates right out of college in 2016, the highest it has been in nearly a decade, according to a Career Builder survey.
Job vacancies are at a historic high, according to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. There were more than 5 million openings at the end of February.

Researchers say most companies favor graduates who completed an internship.
