Two men charged in the deadly hit and run of a Tehachapi basketball star have taken a plea deal.
Isaac Macias pleaded no contest today to manslaughter and Ibrahim Gomes pleaded no contest to deadly hit and run.
All other charges against the men were dropped as a result of the plea deal, and they are both scheduled to be sentenced next month.
According to California Highway Patrol, both men admitted to drinking the night they hit and killed 14-year-old Leslie Balderrama.
Macias and Gomes were originally arrested in October 2015.
