Suspects involved in Second Amendment Sports standoff take plea deals

Two men arrested in connection to a standoff at Second Amendment Sports in Southwest Bakersfield back in April have taken a plea deal.

The status of the third suspect arrested is unknown.

Sheriff officials arrested Johnathan Eddington and a minor pleaded no contest to resisting arrest. All other charges were dropped including second degree burglary.

When deputies arrived, the suspects were inside of Second Amendment Sports playing with firearms. 

The standoff lasted nearly 5 hours.

They will be sentenced on July 8th.
