PG&E crews were working to restore a power outage affecting more than 1,700 customers in southwest Bakersfield on Tuesday, the company said.
The outage was reported at just before 10 a.m., centered in the area of New Stine Road and Sundale Avenue.
West High School and the Kern High School District are both located in the outage area, but it wasn't immediately known whether either campus was impacted.
