A SWAT team is at a home in East Bakersfield where a man has barricaded himself in a residence.

According to Bakersfield Police, a man assaulted another person with a baseball bat around midnight Friday.

The man then went to a home in the area of Lake and Miller streets and has barricaded himself inside.

23ABC reporter Daniela Garrido said just after 7:30 a.m. multiple shots were heard in the vicinity of the home. It's not known what was fired or who fired the shots.
