BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — How would you like to sink your teeth into donuts, all in the name of charity? Well, soon you'll be able to at Donut Fest!

The festival will be held on Sunday, October 13 at Temblor Brewing off of Buck Owens Boulevard.

Fans of donuts with a serious sweet tooth will be able to sample dozens of different types of donuts while sipping coffee, tea and adult beverages.

For those who can really pack donuts away, there will be a ... wait for it... donut eating contest!

Tickets are $12.50 for adults and $8 dollars for the kiddos. There are also a handful of VIP tickets which grant you early admission, a swag bag and other perks.

A portion of the proceeds will be given to Golden Rule Charity.
