Taco and Truckers event supports Garza family following deadly crash

Tacos and Truckers raise money for Garza family following deadly crash
Posted

Saturday Fuego's Taco Shack and Grill hosted a fundraiser for local Bakersfield mother Amber Garza, who lost three children in a deadly crash on Highway 43 in Wasco.

50 percent of the proceeds went directly to Garza. Her son Kaleb Garza(19), her daughter Madysyn Garza (14) were both killed in the crash. Their father Adam Garza (40) and half-sister Jordan Garza (11) were also in the vehicle and lost their lives as well when the drunk driver slammed into their family vehicle.

In an effort to help Amber Garza move forward and pay for funeral expenses other local vendors including Vibe Stitch also attended the fundraising event.

The Tacos and Truckers event took place from 4pm to 9pm, and vendors who attended said they were happy to be able to support the Garza family recovery.
