Taco fundraiser Sunday for 29-year-old woman who died in crash on Edison Highway

A taco fundraiser is scheduled for Gaby Munoz, the 29-year-old woman who died in a crash in east Bakersfield on September 18, 2017. 

Munoz was driving when her car collided with another car at the intersection of Edison Highway and Oswell Street around 6:30 p.m. 

Munoz was taken to Kern Medical but died Monday from her injuries. Munoz's family has set up a GoFundMe account to help with funeral costs.

The event Sunday will be held at Beach Park from 12-5 p.m. located at 3400 21st Street.

18-year-old Chance William Doctolero of Bakersfield was the other driver involved and died at scene.

It is unknown which driver was at fault in the crash, and it's also unknown if drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash. The investigation is ongoing.

At last check, the third victim was still in the hospital.
