Tacos La Villa on Ming Ave. has closed after failing a health inspection by Kern County Public Health, according to a report. 

The report says that food was being stored at improper temperatures, and also says that staff members failed to demonstrate the basic knowledge of food safety. 

In addition the mop sink was removed from the facility and the area was being used for storage. Public Health says the facility is required to install a mop sink to discharge water. 

The restaurant scored a 56% inspection grade and is closed until further notice.
