(KERO) — Another person has lost their life in the Kern River.

The Kern County Sheriff's Office says 25-year-old Vicente Bautista of Taft was found unresponsive in the river Sunday at around 4:30 p.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of his death has not yet been released
