BAKERSFIELD, CA. — A local Taft resident says the help of Kern Medical's Epilepsy Center has given him relief after 11 years.

Roy Reynoso is 22 years old and has had seizures at least once a month for 11 years. After a surgery through the USC Epilepsy Center he was able to find hope.

For now, the Kern Medical Epilepsy Center focuses on pre-care and post-care for epileptic patients that need surgery, but they hope to help with surgeries in the Central Valley in the near future.
