Local popular haunted house attraction, Talladega Frights will not be opening this year. The owners of Talladega Ranch, where the attraction is held have reportedly sold the property. 

An official with another popular event, Christmas Town has told 23ABC that the cast and crew from Talladega Frights is working on putting together a new attraction.

The new attraction, Scare Valley will make its Grand Debut on October 12 at Track House Karting, the former home of the Bakersfield Karting Experience.

Track House Karting is located at 3101 Gilmore Avenue and will be open on October 12, 13, 14, 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, 28, 30 and 31.

Tickets are $15 a person and the location is open from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
