BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — If you're looking for a job, we have news that might just be on Target for you. To celebrate their recent store remodeling, the Target store in the Valley Plaza Mall is hosting a hiring event on Sunday, August 18th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

According to a post on the Job Fest Kern County Facebook page, employees receive 10 percent discount at Target, as well as 20 percent discounts on fruits, vegetables and other Target brands.

Pay was not included, but according to GlassDoor.com, a job and recruiting site, "The typical Target California makes $12 per hour. California hourly pay at Target can range from $10 - $13. This estimate is based upon 21 Target California salary report(s) provided by employees or estimated based upon statistical methods."

Certain employees are also eligible to receive health care, dental and vision.
