A teen is behind bars after police found a semi-automatic weapon.
Wednesday morning at 9:40 a.m., during a probation search on Potomac Avenue, Bakersfield Police officers located a semi-automatic gun in the home of a 17-year-old boy, according to BPD.
The juvenile was arrested and booked for a weapons violation and participation in a criminal street gang and in the Kern County Juvenile Hall.
