Teen Challenge annual BBQ and Special Fundraiser curbside this year

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Teen Challenge is having their annual BBQ and Special Fundraiser curbside this year on Friday and Saturday.

Teen Challenge is a one-year faith-based residential recovery program free of charge for men and women 18 years of age and older that are struggling with life-controlling addictions.

The event is from 2 - 6 p.m., tickets are $20 and to purchase them call 661-399-CARE or email kern@teenchallenge.org.

The drive-thru is at 301 E. Roberts Lane.

The Menu includes BBQ Top Sirloin with oven-roasted garlic potatoes, glazed carrots, and a sourdough roll. Homemade salsa upon request.

Teen Challenge has been serving Kern County since 1969 and is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and all gifts and payments made through fundraisers are 100% tax-deductible.

The organization said if you have a special gift offering, while driving through their Women's Campus for your meal bring your special gift offering and hand it to one of the Kern County Teen Challenge staff members.
