California Highway Patrol says a 17-year-old suffered major injuries in a head-on crash in Oildale Wednesday night.
CHP says the teen was driving his Honda Civic westbound on Round Mountain Road, east of Adolphus Avenue, at an unknown speed. As he took a curve, CHP says he lost control of his car, veering into oncoming traffic. He collided head-on with a Toyota Tundra.
The teen suffered major injuries, while the driver of the Toyota suffered moderate injuries. Both drivers were transported to Kern Medical Center.
