The two people killed in a car crash Saturday morning in Wasco were identified by the Kern County Coroner's Office.
Wasco residents David Nevarez, 17, and Jose Villafuerte, 20, were passengers in a pickup truck when it lost control just after 2 a.m. Saturday..
The truck flipped over and crashed near Highway 46 west of Scofield Avenue. Both yung men were pronounced dead at the scene.
