An 18-year-old is behind bars after being arrested in connection with a deadly shooting.

According to Bakersfield Police, 18-year-old Christian Campos was arrested Saturday and now faces first-degree murder charges.

On April 13, Daniel Macias was found sitting in a vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds at a shopping center on Panama Lane and South H Street. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

BPD initially said they were looking for two suspects. BPD has not said if a second suspect is still being sought.

Campos is scheduled to be in court Tuesday afternoon.
