A teenager who was shot and killed last week in Rosamond has been identified by the Kern County Coroner's Office. 

Kawanza Hilt of Mojave was shot multiple times on the 3300 block of 15th Street West on Dec. 12 around 5:30 p.m., according to KCSO.

Hilt, 17, was taken to Antelope Valley Hospital where he later died from his injuries. 

A postmortem examination will be performed at a later time. 

No suspect information has been provided and no arrests have been made. The Kern County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident.
