The Tehachapi junior varsity football team honored their former teammate Jacob Langston before Friday's game with a moment of silence. 

The team will now wear his number, 72, on their helmets for the rest of the season. 

Jacob, his 46-year-old father Doug Langston and 22-year-old brother-in-law Caleb Johnson died after their boat capsized in in June Lake last Saturday. They were not able to make it back to shore. There bodies were recovered on Tuesday.  

A celebration of life will be held for Jacob and his father in the Tehachapi High School gymnasium on Sunday at 1 p.m. 

The families of Caleb, Doug and Jacob have created GoFundMe pages to help in their time of need.
