A Tehachapi High School student was arrested Thursday, accused of making threats, city officials confirmed to 23ABC News.

Key Budge, Community Relations Specialist with the City of Tehachapi, says a boy was arrested on campus. No weapons were found or seized.

The student was taken to juvenile hall.

23ABC News reached out to the Tehachapi Unified School District seeking comment, but the district has not yet responded. This story will be updated if and when a response is received.
