TEHACHAPI, Calif. — The Tehachapi City Council will be voting Monday night on an item that would - if passed - put the words "In God We Trust" onto all city police vehicles.

The item was unanimously moved to the consent agenda at the last council meeting on July 15th.

Angelo Frazier -- a local pastor and volunteer chaplin for the Bakersfield Police Department -- has been behind a movement to get this motto added to city police vehicles throughout Kern County.

Several cities in the county have already approved this addition, including Bakersfield and Delano.
