The City of Tehachapi and the Kern County Library Tehachapi Branch have collaborated on a book donation drive for the Porterville Public Library.

Throughout the month of March, the community can donate books of any kind for the Porterville Library and drop them off at either Tehachapi City Hall, 115 S. Robinson St.,or the Kern County Library Tehachapi Branc, 212 S Green St.

On Tuesday Feb. 18, the Porterville Fire Department lost two firefighters while battling a fire that burned the Porterville Public Library.
