BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — If you'd like to take some time this morning to help out a local little league spruce up their field, Tehachapi Little League would love to have you.

Today Tehachapi Little League is asking for volunteers to help with their field work day. According to their Facebook Page, it's a busy time of the year for them as they get ready for their upcoming season.

Today they will work on cleaning the field as well as other maintenance projects. If you'd like to help they will be out at 490 West D Street in Tehachapi at 9 a.m. this morning.

They are asking that volunteers bring gloves, shovels, rakes and come ready to lend a hand. For more information,you can call 760-937-5498.
