TEHACHAPI, Calif. — A document circulating across social media regarding a threat to Tehachpi PD officers did not come from Tehachapi PD, according to the department.

Tehachapi PD says they received information regarding a possible threat of retalliation against members of the department following a recent officer-involved shooting. Tehachapi PD says detectives are currently investigating the threats.

Tehachpi PD says a document circulating through social media, which warns officers about a potential threat, did not originate with the department. Tehachpi PD says the document also was not circulated by the department.
