TEHACHAP, Calif. — The Tehachapi Police Department is inviting the community to join them for a Neighborhood Watch kickoff meeting on Tuesday night.

The meeting starts at 6 p.m. at Pioneer Park. Tehachapi's neighborhood improvement project started earlier this year as part of the Tehachapi Police Department's community-oriented policing program. Police officials will explain how it works, provide safety tips, and bring the community together.
