TEHACHAPI, Calif. — The Tehachapi Police Department will be participating in the 'National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day' event taking place this weekend.
You can drop off your unwanted, unused and expired medications at the Tehachapi Police Department from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
This day aims to provide a safe and convenient way to dispose of prescription medications. The DEAs host the National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day twice a year and the next event will be in October 2019.
“Prescription medications can be stolen or misused so we encourage everyone to clear out their medicine cabinets of unwanted, unused and expired medications for proper disposal on Saturday April 27,” said Kent Kroeger Chief of Police.
