Tehachapi woman arrested for DUI after rear-ending semi near Pearsonville

PEARSONVILLE, Calif. — According to the California Highway Patrol, a 33-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving after she collided with a semi-truck on US-395 north of Pearsonville.

The accident happened on Wednesday at around 7:47 a.m. when Krystal Lynn Addison of Tehachapi failed to reduce speed and collided with the rear of the semi.

Neither Addison or the driver of the semi, 40-year-old Brian Lee Balliet of Washoe Valley, NV, were injured in the accident.

Following a DUI investigation, Addision was arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol. The collision remains under investigation by the CHP.
