BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — The City of Bakersfield is temporarily closing the northbound side of Manor Street Bridge over the Kern River on Jan. 27.

Starting at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, the northbound lanes will be closed until 4:30 p.m.

A detour will be provided at Columbus Street for northbound traffic, but traffic delays are expected.
