The water is back on at Standard Middle and Elementary Schools after a water line was broken by a construction crew Friday.

23ABC received a call from a parent about people inside the buildings not being able to use the bathrooms and having no access to water.

The superintendent of the school district said water was still available in the cafeteria and gym. Kern County Environmental Health told the superintendent the number of working restrooms and drinking fountains meets the needs of the students and staff.
