BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — At first it was Amazon and now Tesla is looking to bring some business to Bakersfield.

The electric auto-maker has announced a new service center on Young Street in Southwest Bakersfield. Prior to this center, Tesla drivers had to travel nearly 100 miles out of town to get their car serviced. The company says all repairs will be handled at this location, including software diagnostics and resolutions.

At this time, the center will work on an appointment basis. You can schedule service through the Tesla mobile app.
