BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Mark your calendars, a job and resource fair for veterans and active military is happening soon.
The Army and National Guard are hosting the event on August 24 at the Kern County Fairgrounds from 10 a.m. to 1 pm.
The job fair is open to all veterans-- regardless of branch-- and current active duty and reservists, spouses and military dependents.
To attend you will need to provide your current military ID Or DD214 or NGB22 form along with a drivers license. A VA card is acceptable for dependents and spouses and an American Legion or VA membership card is acceptable as well.
Event organizers said applicants should dress for success or in uniform and bring plenty of resume copies.
