The Bakersfield Chapter of Links is hosting 'A Legacy of Excellence: 40 year of service and friendship celebration tonight.

The event will be hosted at Seven Oaks Country Clubs starting at 6 p.m. on October 7th and it will go until 11 p.m..

This formal event will include dinner, dancing and live entertainment.

All proceeds will benefit the Links Foundation for the benefit of the local Links STEAM Leadership Academy and the Bakersfield Chapter of Links.

The Academy programming provides STEAM curriculum and educational opportunities for students in grades 4th to 12th.
