BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department is cracking down on motorists driving under the influence Friday night.
BPD will be holding a DUI and License checkpoint at an undisclosed location between 6 p.m. and Midnight. During that time, officers will be looking for signs of driver under the influence of alcohol or drugs, including marijuana.
Funding for the operation comes through a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety.
