The Bakersfield Police Department is looking for a man who allegedly attacked two dogs with an axe

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — The Bakersfield Police Department is searching for a suspect they think attacked two dogs Monday morning.

Officers got the call at 1:30 a.m. that said a man had attacked two dogs with an axe. They say it happened near Brundage Lane and Union Avenue.

Police are looking for a suspect described as a Hispanic man, in his late twenties. , He stands 5-foot, 9-inches tall, has a slim build, and was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, jeans, red and white knit cap.
