The Bakersfield Police Department K9 Unit’s 18th Annual “Howlin at the Moon” Fun Run

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department is hosting their 18th Annual “Howlin at the Moon” Fun Run.
BPD says it's a fun filled night-time run and all paid participants will receive a glow-necklace, a BBQ sandwich, chips and refreshments.

Activities will be available for kids and items will be provided by various local businesses and organizations to be raffled.

It's happening at the Park at Riverwalk next to the Kern River along the bike path.
The 2K Fun Run starts at 7 p.m. and the 5K and 10K Runs will start at 7:30 p.m.

Check-in begins at 5 p.m. Early registration packets can be picked up the night before at BPD at 1601 Truxtun Ave. between 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.
