The Bakersfield Pregnancy Center hosted the Heroes for Life 5k run and walk on Saturday at Bakersfield Christian High School.

The run began at 8 a.m. and will be finished at 10 a.m. at the BCHS gym.

The registration fee is $25 and it includes a runners bib, "Heroes" tee-shirt and medal.

Heroes for Life proceeds will help fund the ministry of the Bakersfield Pregnancy Center.
