WASCO, Calif. — The California Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash involving a vehicle versus a semi-trailer Wednesday morning that left two dead.
KCSO has identified the two deceased as 29-year-old Yuleny Elizabeth Castrejon Diaz, declared deceased at the scene and 31-year-old Martha Rosana Martinez-Rojas also declared deceased at the scene due to her injuries.
According to the CHP, the 43 just north of McCombs Avenue was closed for this crash. The incident was located near the city of Wasco.
The driver of the semi-trailer, 60-year-old Francisco G. Avalos was not injured.
