The Children’s Place recalls infant snowsuits over choking hazard

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Children’s Place is recalling nearly 15,,000 infant snowsuits due to a choking hazard.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission said the metal snaps on the snowsuits can detach and be swallowed.

The recall involves girls’ infant snowsuits in sizes 0 to 18 months in the following colors/patterns:

Style number: 2111187
Color/pattern: White Sophy floral – a white snowsuit with a pattern of flowers of different colors

Style number: 2111187
Color/pattern: Jazzberry ladybug – a pink snowsuit with a pattern of red ladybugs

Style number: 2111188
Color/pattern: Rosebud heart – a pale pink snowsuit with a heart pattern stitched in to the sleeves

No injuries have been reported. Consumers are being asked to stop using the suits and return them for a full refund.

The suits were sold nationwide at The Children’s Place stores and online from August 2018 through November 2018 for $50.
