The Mission at Kern County is hosting their annual community Christmas lunch on Saturday, Dec. 23.
The meal is usually held on Christmas Eve, but it got moved to Dec. 23 because Christmas Eve falls on a Sunday. The Mission is hoping the change will allow them to serve even more people.
The Mission said every person who attends will be given a special gift which is subject to availability.
The meal will be held at the Mission located at 821 E. 21st Street from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
