Last summer, the Northwest Bakersfield Baseball 11U All-Stars captured the Cal Ripken Pacific Southwest Regional Championship. 

Following the state title win they represented California in the Pacific Southwest Regionals where they went undefeated.

After winning the 11U regional title, they earned a berth in this years Babe Ruth/Cal Ripken 12 U Major/70 World Series to be played in Branson, Missouri from August 3 till 11.

There are 24 teams in this years World Series including eight international teams from Korea, Japan, Canada, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Australia and New Zealand.

The team is responsible for their uniforms, travel expenses, and hotel accommodations according to the team and any financial contribution would be greatly accepted by the team.
