BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — KCSO has gone mobile with their launch of The Sheriff's App.

The new mobile app's purpose is to make information readily available for the public at the touch of a finger, according to a news release.

KCSO says they plan to share the latest news releases, social media channels, pertinent phone numbers on the new application. Users can also check the crime mapping in their neighborhood and see the Sheriff's "most wanted" list.

The free app is available for download in the App store for iPhones and Google Play for Androids. Just search, “Kern County Sheriff.”
