The power shutoff's current status has been in effect since Wednesday around noon according to the SoCal Edison website.

Southern California Edison says that they are not sure when the power will be restored and depends on local weather conditions.

And PG&E outages impacting parts of Kern County as well. There are still more than 600 people in Lebec without power due to public safety power shutoffs. The website says the estimated restoration time is 10 p.m. Thursday night.
